to love brings melodious gifts
into a world shrouded with gloom
regrets to overcome once more
the struggle to create new thoughts
and move forward to happiness.
let us persevere to reach out
and chart our journey to bliss
and live as we are purposed to
The Streetbeatina is an eight-line poem with each line consisting of eight syllables. What makes this form both a challenge to write and uniquely different from other forms is that the first syllable of the first line is repeated as the second syllable in the second line, the third syllable of the third line, and so on, the repetition of the sound of the syllable at precise intervals providing the poem with a natural beat and musicality. Although it is completely optional, the poet can emphasize the repeated syllable by either printing it in italics, bold, or a different color. โ Paul Szlosek @ Paul’s Poetry Playground

Franci, have you been able to use Pexels for featured images? Ever since I switched my theme, I can’t use it. It won’t let me pull up any images. ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ

I go directly to Pexels for my images and don’t use the shortcut via WP. I just tried the shortcut from both of my themes and received an error. Perhaps, a glitch!

Thanks for checking for me. I didnโt want it to be another theme error. ๐

Most welcome, Colleen. ๐The themes leave a lot to be desired. While searching for an FSE theme, I found some work well and some don’t. Once I got used to how to edit, it got easier to set up my blog. Now I can tweak it until my heart’s content because of the numerous possibilities.

I have no idea how I am going to move my sites to an FSE theme. ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ Do you find they work better? Someone suggested I move to a “block” theme and leave the “classic” themes behind. I’m thinking about doing that to see if the themes quit glitching. I also quit Google and am back on Firefox. I can’t take all the wierd text messages and such. I will need to look at email next I think.

It depends on which FSE site you select. The first one I chose made my site look like a trainwreck. Some have a style built-in and I got so frustrated because even my individual posts didn’t look right. Once I found this theme, it all meshed together. I wanted a header, a footer, and a sidebar, and only two FSE themes have a sidebar.
I still use Vivaldi and Firefox as my backup. I use Runbox for my email but still get tons of spam, however, they don’t spy on you as Google does. Runbox is in Norway and more secure than some of the others. I pay $35. every 2 years.

Lovely poem and interesting lesson about Streetbeatina, which I hadn’t heard of before. These must be challenging to write. Applause, applause! ๐
